FIRE SEASON

How do you build a life amidst climate crisis?

A self-guided audiowalk exploring the audience's relationship to a changing climate. Broadcasting live over FM radio, writer/performer Monica Miklas shares her stories and prose poetry as the audience explores a real wildfire burn site. Described as "decidedly timely, reflective of an era when the loss of life can feel overwhelming to the point of paralyzing" (LA Times).

Production History: Premiered at Paramount Ranch, CA (Sept-Oct 2020); Paramount Ranch, CA (Oct 2021); presented by the Denver Film Festival at Bear Creek Lake Park, CO (Nov 2021).
