ABOUT THE SHOW
Welcome to FIRE SEASON: an in-person, COVID-safe exploration of climate change and our connection to nature. Guided by the stories and prose poetry of writer/performer Monica Miklas, FIRE SEASON invites audiences to explore Paramount Ranch, a wildfire burn site in the 2018 Woolsey Fire.
Designed with COVID-19 safety in mind, FIRE SEASON is an outdoor experience in which you will have the option to hike, walk, or sit while listening to audio. You will be exposed to the elements, which may include heat, wind, sunlight, plants, and wildlife. The experience takes 1 hour. Physically distancing will be observed at all times. Masks are required at check-in; vaccinated participants are free to remove their masks once inside the park should they desire.
FIRE SEASON takes place at Paramount Ranch at 2903 Cornell Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. The park is open to the public; you may encounter horses and other hikers. There is a bathroom onsite. Parking is free.
WHAT TO BRING
You should plan to bring the following items to FIRE SEASON:
- A mask. All participants are required to wear a mask during check-in, and social distance throughout the experience.
- Water
- Hiking shoes or sturdy, comfortable sneakers
- Any cover you need for the sun (a hat, sunscreen, etc.)
ACCESSIBILITY
FIRE SEASON is appropriate for a range of mobilities and abilities/disabilities. If you have questions about whether FIRE SEASON is right for you or to make arrangements for accommodations, contact us at capitalwperformance@gmail.com.

WAIVER: In order to purchase a ticket, you must be over 18 and everyone in your party will have to sign a waiver at check in.
